Would Halo 3 ever be available for PS3? I am debating between a PS3 and xBox 360. PS3 seems like a better gaming system/home entertainment system, but the 360 has Halo 3. What should I do?

I am trying to connect to XBox Live. I have an ethernet cable that does work. It will connect to the internet when I hook it up to my computer. However, when I plug the cable into my XBox, the XBox can not connect and I don’t know why. Please help.
