How can I take screenshots in Halo 3 while going through the campaign missions?

I have had Halo 3 for 2 years now and I still can’t seem to figure out how to properly take screen shots while playing in campaign mode. I want to be able to take screen shots of the cinematic sequences as well.
Can anyone help me in figuring out how I can do this.

first you must go to theater in halo 3 main menu and select the movie you want to watch then….
1) press x
2) choose either film or screen shoot
3) choose name and description
This doesn’t work when you have a bunch of people in theater and you need somewhere to store it eg hard drive
1.you have to be the only one in the theater lobby.
2.you have to save the film from your recent films.
if that doesn’t work then go through the film record the part where you want to take a screen shot. then go back into the short recorded film and take a picture through there.
wen you start up halo 3 it takes you to the main screen with the music and flying banshees. go to the bottom lobby titled Theater. not campaign or forage or custom games. from there you can select the different games or levels you have played and watch them over and wile watching you can pause the film to take a screen shot.
To solve this problem, which has been experienced by everyone, what you must do is make sure you’re the only person in your Xbox LIVE party, or switch to local and sign your guest out.
After that, if you’re still unable to take screenshots (which is unlikely).
Save the film from your recent film list.
If THAT does not work, then start the film and DO NOT fast forward. Just watch through until you get to the right point.
If none of these steps solve the problem, then you’re going to need a different film, which means duplicating whatever it was you needed to capture.
I don’t know of a way that you can take screen shots of the cinematic scenes, not sure if that’s possible. However, to take screen shots of the campaign gameplay, go to theater mode from the main screen and load the mission of interest. Start playing the movie, and press X to bring up an options menu (you can navigate this by using the control pad). Pull on the right trigger to fast forward or slow mo through the gameplay, and press the camera rectangle on the menu when you want to take a screen shot.
