So my old Xbox 360 Platinum has crapped out for the last time and im just going to buy a whole new consel. i asked some people at best buy some questions and i was just wondering if you could confirm them and give me links to proof possibly.

First question, if i buy an elite i want to move all my memory from my 20 gig harddrive to the elite’s harddrive. best buy says they can do this for , and i heard that you can get a divice through microsoft. Then TWO of their employees says prescription drugs you can moved saved data to a flash drive or external harddrive and then copy it onto the new harddrive. Is this true? i heard this was a fairly recent thing. like within the last month.

Second question. They were saying old harddrives can be a partial cause to the RROD, which i have gotten 4 times with my old 20 gig harddrive. if this is true than i for sure dont want to buy an arcade, but at the same time will only buy an elite if there is a way to transfer my saves to another harddrive because i have a ton of games where im like nearly finished or half way through and couldnt finish because the stupid RROD.

and last question….. i think. So is the failure rate for the newer models any better? because my current consel is 4 years old and has only failed within the last 6 months….yes it failed 4 times in 6 months, and only recently because of a power outage.
